About Dr. Jeffrey Lin

Located at 1008 Scranton Carbondale Hwy, Scranton, PA 18508, Dr. Jeffrey Lin operates as an oral serving Scranton in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as practitioner service location, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Around Scranton, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Pennsylvania are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 7:30 am–4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (570) 307-8100. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pinnacle-oms.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.6 out of 5 from 17 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Scranton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have no complaints about Dr Lin…he’s knowledgeable and highly professional. I needed a tooth extraction and he performed the extraction using just novacaine, as I had requested. This will no doubt sound like sour grapes but after he literally arm wrestled my wisdom tooth out of my head (I was watching his dental hygienist’s face so I know he was having problems)…when I went to the desk afterwards to get my scripts for my antibiotic and oral rinse…I asked if I was getting anything for pain and was told by the receptionist to use Tylenol. Thank you, Dr Sallie. I’m the Head Nurse for a NYC Emergency Room and I understand that the Feds are cracking down on doctors for giving out pain meds…but breaking off a wisdom tooth and having the receptionist tell me that Tylenol will cover it??? I’ll bet my mortgage that if his wife had gotten her wisdom tooth broken off the way he had taken out mine, there would have been some pain meds for the next few days. Is he afraid that I’m going to become addicted after two days of pain medication? For his education…the vast majority of patients who receive opioids post op do not become addicts. My tooth was pulled yesterday and I was awake all of last

I had a tooth extracted on Monday and was feeling very anxious beforehand. Dr. Lin and his entire team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and reassured, and I truly felt I was in excellent hands. The procedure was quick and efficient—within a few minutes, I was done and on my way. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Lin and his team for making the whole experience so positive. While I hope I won’t need to return, if I ever do, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Dr. Lin’s office.

Just had molar extracted today and was impressed with how comfortable Dr. Lin and his staff made me. Very attentive and would go again for any future procedures. Also thank you for showing up in a snowstorm. The staff was welcoming and concerned with my safety. Well done.

Terrible bedside manner on behalf of the Doctor/Surgeon. could not complete the surgery, tried to blame the patient because HE did not finish, and very rudely and abruptly walked away during our conversation. will never go here again and will not be going back for the tooth that he did not get out.

Dr. Lin is a surgeon you can trust. He has the surgical skills to fix complicated issues. Dr. Lin greatly improved my neuropathy pain in my jaw where hardware had been extracted 18 months prior, from an original surgical placement 25 years ago due to a car accident. Removing the hardware that had fused to my jaw bone resulted in severe neuropathic pain that lasted for 18 months. It affected my ability to work, travel and see my family because the pain was much and constant every day. I have been prescribed medication from oral medicine, which helps some, but I lived a very limited life. I thought that I was going to be experiencing this amount of pain for the rest of my life, but the surgery that Dr. Lin performed changed everything for me. I really can’t believe that my issue has improved so much. Dr. Lin is a miracle worker and the nicest person you could meet. He called several times after my surgery to check in. He also recommended aftercare about stretching the area to reduce scar tissue contractions. Dr. Lin’s office is also a very pleasant place to be and has the nicest people at the front desk and the most helpful and attentive nurses. I felt supported the entire way, th
